Christopher Maddux
Cybersecurity Operations student at Florida SouthWestern State College. I like taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and building my own tools, from web apps and AI projects to laptops and car electrical. Click any project for the full write-up.

How I use AI
I use AI as a daily working tool, not a shortcut. I work across Claude, ChatGPT, and the Codex and Claude Code CLIs, and I connect models through OpenRouter. I write prompts that get useful, accurate help on security and technical work. I also run local LLMs, both standard and Mixture-of-Experts, on hardware I built and upgraded for it. I'm upfront that several of my projects were built with AI coding tools. My part is the design, understanding how it all works, and the troubleshooting it takes to make it run.
What I'm studying
A.S. in Cybersecurity Operations at FSW (expected Summer 2027), then a B.A.S. in Information Technology. Coursework includes computer hardware and software (CompTIA A+ prep), networking, network security, incident response (CompTIA CFR-410), Linux servers, Python, and HTML/CSS.
What I bring
Four years managing restaurant teams (GM and Assistant GM), so I'm used to owning outcomes, training people, following procedures, and fixing problems under pressure. I'm looking for SOC analyst, IT/repair technician, and cybersecurity internship roles.
